About Me

I'm Anmol, a high school senior in India. I love endorsing in STEM and Research. I am the Co-Founder of Cancer-Ex: A first-ever non-invasive, expensive, and point of care strip-based test that detects pancreatic cancer in early stages through saliva. I'm enjoying leadership positions in my time working in research, and also mentoring others with their research. I put my team in front of my own success, and seek to excel at the execution of big ideas even with constraints. I am Regeneron ISEF, Google Science Fair, Genius Olympiad, and Diamond Challenge Alumni as well as the winner. This year(2020) I was also awarded President's Child Award for Exceptional Achievement in the field of Innovation by the President and Prime Minister of India. It is the highest civilian honour given to minors by the Govt. of India. Being one of the Core Member of a Rotary Interact Club, I also love devoting time for fundraising and providing vocational training for rural kids.

My Interest - Aeronautical Engineering, Human Sciences, Cancer Research and Biochemistry.

Outside the work and school, you can find me eating Farmhouse Pizza in Dominos, Jamming, engrossing in Yuval Harari’s books.

Civilian Honor

It is the highest civilian honor for minors in India, received in the field of “Innovation” for his exceptional achievements. He got this award from the Hon’ble President and Prime Minister of India, at the Presidential Residence.

Global Finalist

Regeneron International Science and Engineering(ISEF)

Finalist for The Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair - ISEF - 2020 (supposed to be held at Anaheim, CA, U.S.A from May 10-15) for the project on Early Detection of Pancreatic Cancer. Although, due to the severe spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic, ISEF was canceled.

Semi-Finalist

Diamond Challenge

Created by the University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship in 2012, it's an innovative global and World's largest entrepreneurship competition offering $100,000 in prizes for high school students. I was qualified as the Diamond Challenge Semi-Finalist (one of 34 teams) in the category of social innovation to present a 5-minute pitch at the Virtual Diamond Challenge Summit. he is the member of the only team selected from India.

Gold Medal in the Category of Science

Genius Olympiad 2019

An annual interdisciplinary International High School Competition, held at the State University of New York (SUNY), OSWEGO, New York from 17th June 2019 to 21st June 2019 for the project - Early Detection of Pancreatic Cancer through Lateral Flow Assay with application utilising retrospective data for risk assessment. A Certificate along with an Amazon Fire HD-10 Tablet was also awarded.

Regional Finalist (Top 100 Exhibits from All Around the World)

Google Science Fair 2018

World’s One of The Biggest Annual Science & Engineering Fair for High School Students for the project - Early Detection of Pancreatic Cancer through Lateral Flow Assay with application utilising retrospective data for risk assessment. A Chromebook and other goodies were also awarded.

National Level Award(s)

Grand Award

IRIS National Fair 2019

Won the Grand Award in the category of Bio-Chemistry for the project on early detection of Pancreatic Cancer at the IRIS National Fair 2019 held at Bangalore. This is the biggest Science & Engineering Fair for high school students in India. The grand award is the gateway to qualify for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world's biggest science and engineering fair, to be held at Anaheim, USA in May 2020.

First Prize

CSIR Innovation Award for School Children 2019

This award will be given by the Science and Technology Minister of India, Dr Harsh Vardhan at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 26th of september 2019 for the project Early Detection of Pancreatic Cancer through Lateral Flow Assay with application utilising retrospective data for risk assessment. He will be awarded a sum of 1,00,000 INR for the same. Awarded to Only 10 Projects in India every year by Science & Technology Minister of India. A Cash prize of 1,00,000 Rs. was awarded along with an Innovation Protection Unit at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

CSIR Innovation Award for School Children 2018

This award was given by the Science and Technology Minister of India, Dr Harsh Vardhan at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi for the project A Cash prize of 20,000 Rs. was awarded along with an Innovation Protection Unit at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
